Rooms that bring you closer to the wilderness.

Your Stay In The Banyan bandhavgarh

The Banyan is more than a place to stay; it is a place to experience Bandhavgarh at its own pace. Set beside the Charan Ganga River and surrounded by forest, the lodge offers a sense of space, privacy and effortless comfort.

Days begin with the forest and end beneath open skies. Between safaris, there is time to linger over a meal, retreat into the quiet of your room, or simply watch the wilderness unfold around you.

A stay shaped by nature, thoughtful hospitality and the timeless character of Bandhavgarh.

Amenities in each Room

Each room is thoughtfully designed for comfort, with a generous sleeping area centred around a king-size bed dressed in soft cotton linen, and a relaxed sitting space with armchairs and a low table for quiet hours between safaris. The spacious bathrooms feature walk-in showers and windows that open towards the green, while each room extends outdoors to its own private verandah or sit-out overlooking the forest. A writing table provides a place for journals, books or camera gear, while air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the rooms comfortable through Bandhavgarh’s warmer months. Throughout the day, freshly prepared tea and coffee can be brought to your room whenever you wish — a small, familiar pleasure to accompany a slow morning or a quiet pause in the afternoon.

The outdoor space

This is the part guests remember.
Every room opens onto its own outdoors — a verandah, a chair, a table, and the forest doing what the forest does. It is where most people take their first coffee at 5am, and where most people end up again at four in the afternoon.
Langurs are frequent. Peafowl are constant. Nothing here requires you to go looking for it.

Nature. Adventure. Memories

At The Banyan, Bandhavgarh comes alive in its most natural form. Surrounded by forest and nestled along the serene Charan Ganga stream, our intimate safari retreat offers a peaceful escape steps from the park. From bird walks and quiet forest moments to evenings around the fire beneath the stars, every stay is an invitation to slow down, explore, and connect with the wild.
